Here’s how to find Anorexic/Bulimic focused meetings on OA.org

0:00-0:09 So, here’s how to use the OA.org website to find a Anorexic/Bulimic meeting.
0:10-0:19 I’m going to just click on this “Find a Meeting” button. Uh, let’s do an online example here first.
0:20-0:27 Now, I’ve been here before so it already knows I’m in Pacific Time Zone. It might first when you click on it look like this.
0:28-0:38 Where it, uh, you confirm your time zone. Uh, choose my day of the week.
0:39-0:50 I recommend you to leave the time of the day blank because there are not that many meetings, there might not be one between these very small windows.
0:51-1:02 But, uh, you might want to choose your language here. I’m going to go ahead and put in English, because that’s what I speak. There it is.
1:03-1:17 Then, the important part is go here to additional search options. See where it says here Specific Focus, I want “Anorexia/Bulimia.” So I click “Find a meeting.”
1:18-1:33 And it gives me the meetings in time order. So you’ll notice a couple of 8 A.M.’s, three 8 A.M.’s, 9 A.M., and some in the afternoon, Pacific Time
1:34-1:49 If I was going to do this for Face to Face, you don’t have to worry about the time zone, but you choose the area, let’s say I was gonna do here Los Angeles.
1:50-2:05 Go to additional search options, I want, nope I want to worry about language. Language is less of an issue when you’re working locally.
2:06-2:24 Pick “Anorexia/Bulimia,” “Find a Meeting,” here we go. Here in L.A. there’s a Thursday one, there’s a Wednesday one, there’s a Tuesday one…yeah, three of them per week in Los Angeles, in person.
